My first safari of 2026 took me to Malaysia. Together with three friends, I explored the ancient rainforests of Borneo — by safari jeep and by boat along its winding rivers. The primary goal of our journey was to track orangutans in their natural habitat.

The second half of our trip took us beneath the surface, as we traded the jungle for the sea. The dive sites surrounding the island of Sipadan are nothing short of extraordinary — offering possible encounters with rays, hammerhead sharks, reef sharks, whale sharks, and breathtaking coral gardens.
